Whether you want to chat, share experiences, or simply relax in a supportive environment, we welcome you to be part of this casual get-together. It’s a perfect opportunity to discuss current topics relevant to our lives and community, all while engaging in conversations that may often be overlooked in other settings.

This is not a therapy or counselling session.
You will be asked to turn your camera on at least for a time for the comfort and wellbeing of our community.
If you are seeking psychedelic integration support, we can provide contacts for a variety of supports. Such as our online Integration groups.
Can the APS help me get psychedelics? No, we are unable to provide illegal substances. We also caution you against sourcing these substances on our online groups and forums, as this can lead to your removal from our groups and jeopardise the future of our organisation. Please refrain from such discussions on our platforms.
The Zoom link will be posted in the discussion on the day of the event. If you require the link sent another way, please email president@psychedelicsociety.org.au.
For any questions or discussion topics, feel free to post them in the group discussion on our facebook page below.

Your Brain on Psychedelics
Hey APS fam!
It's been some time since the last talk! For those of you who don’t know, Adrian and Jason are two junior psychiatry doctors interested in creating a dialogue in the psychedelic community in anticipation of the inevitable integration of psychedelics into the medical sphere - especially now given that psilocybin and MDMA have been approved for medical treatment of treatment resistant-depression and PTSD!
We're keen to do another talk, this time doing a dive into the mechanisms of what happens in our brains when on classical psychedelics, specifically covering the important pharmacology and neurology of psychedelics, and ultimately how it can be very helpful and healing.
Join us for this talk which will be a condensed review of our older talks and some of the latest papers aimed at the new folk who have joined the ranks! Of course everyone's welcomed and we'd love to hear all kinds of perspectives at discussion time! We'll start the talk at 6pm and it should go for about 45 minutes, followed by Q&A and casual chats after.
Look forward to seeing you there!

We will support you to make sense of challenging experiences, to share a meaningful experience with like-minded people, and to connect with the local community. We acknowledge that recreational use of psychedelics continues despite a long history of criminalisation.
The group does not encourage or condone recreational use but we do provide harm minimisation support and psycho-education to those who make their own choice to do this. The circle will focus on learning tools and techniques to work through experiences in a structured way, guiding you through a process of reflection and action. A mental health professional will be present and the session will include a short mindfulness activity, meditation or mini sound healing.
We are very grateful for our Mental Health trained facilitators in creating a safe space to share knowledge, passion & insight about this thriving culture of psychedelics we find ourselves in. Please note the different locations:
June 18th: "Shine MindBody" studio in Nedlands. Facilitators: Steven & Jozay
July 23rd: "Body Mind Heart" studio in West Perth. Facilitators: Kylie & Agnieska
August 14th: "Nature of Self" studio in North Fremantle. Facilitators: Britt & Danielle
All walks of life welcome

The Zoom link will be posted in the women's group discussion on the day of the event. If you need the link elsewhere, just reach out to us.
Don't miss this opportunity to connect with other women in APS! Feel free to post any questions or topics you'd like to discuss in the discussion thread. Can't wait to see you all there!

Psychedelic Art Class Series 1 | Mandalas & Meditation
Mandalas are one of the more traditional psychedelic art forms; they have been created by different cultures and religions all over the world, and have long been used as a meditation instrument to focus one's attention and create a sense of wellbeing.
In collaboration with Seven Spheres Creations, the Perth Chapter of the Australian Psychedelic Society presents the first of a series of workshops intended to celebrate and educate on the beauty and influence of Psychedelic Art.
Come along and learn the mindful art of drawing mandalas with Cale from Seven Spheres Creations (instagram.com/sevenspherecreations).
* Begin the session with a guided meditation with Claire from Conscious Movement (instagram.com/consciousmvt).
